‘Who needs Kohli?’ Twitter reacts as Ajinkya Rahane guides India to 8-wicket win over Australia in 2nd Test

Team India cruised to an eight-wicket win over Australia in the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Tuesday (December 29).

With this victory, the visitors also levelled the four-match series at 1–1 after the first two games.

In chase of a target score of 70 for a win today, it was only poetic justice that stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane smashed the winning run off Nathan Lyon as India made a thrilling comeback in the series.

This victory also ensures India moves a step closer to the final of the World Test Championship.
