‘We are expecting to win over 100 seats’: TRS’ K Kavitha gives verdict on 2020 GHMC election results

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader K Kavitha has expressed her thoughts on the results of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls, counting of votes for which is currently underway since 8 am on Friday (December 4).

While speaking to ANI, Kavitha revealed that she is expecting her party to secure over 100 seats.

“We are expecting to win over 100 seats,” K Kavitha said.

“Although many big leaders from BJP came to campaign and made many false claims, I’m happy that people of Hyderabad did not believe in them & reposed their faith in KCR’s leadership,” she added.

The GHMC polls counting is being conducted in 30 locations/centres spread across 166 halls. For each ward, one counting hall will be provided and in each counting hall, 14 tables will be arranged.

Postal ballots will be counted first then regular ballot papers from the polling stations will follow.
