Right before day one action for the third Test match between India and Australia got underway, pacer Mohammed Siraj got very emotional and failed to holdback his tears on Thursday (January 7).

The entire incident happened when the two teams took to field for the national anthems before the match at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

As soon as the Indian national started playing after Australia’s, Siraj broke into tears while singing it.

The pure moment was caught on camera and the clip went instantly viral on social media.

Upon asked to bowl first, the tourists got off to a perfect start as Siraj bagged the wicket of David Warner (5), who is making a comeback into the team after suffering a groin injury, in the fourth over of the innings.

This is also the first time in four years that Warner got dismissed for less than 10 runs in a home Test.

Australia currently are 21/1 in the eighth over as rain played spoilsport and early lunch was called.
