UPSC Releases Timetable for Main Examinations

New Delhi: The Union Public Services Commission has released the schedule for the main examinations on its official website. According to the timetable released the main exam will begin from Jan 8, 2021 and will conclude on Jan 21, 2021. In between, the main examinations will be held in 5 days.

The first exam will be held in the first shift on Jan 8 and for the rest of the four days, it will be held in two shifts. The first exam’s shift will be three hours long and will be held between 9 am to 12 noon and for the next four days, the main exams will also be held in the afternoon session from 2 pm to 5 pm.

According to the time table, Paper 1 (essay) is on Jan 8 between 9 am to 12 Noon. Paper 2 general studies I, II, III and IV will be held on Jan 9 and Jan 10 in two shifts. On the next weekend, Jan 16, the main examination for the Indian language will be held in the forenoon session and the English examination will be held in the afternoon shift.

On Jan 17, main examinations for Optional Paper-I and Optional Paper-II will be held in two shifts.
