Rajasthan: Pedestrian suffers severe injuries after under-construction pillar collapses on him — WATCH

In an unfortunate event, an under-construction pillar in a market in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur collapsed on a local commuter and severely injured him.

The above-mentioned incident took place on Wednesday (December 16) evening in the Sarafa market in Bharatpur.

In a video, the pillar from the under-construction site can be seen falling from the third floor of the building while two pedestrians were walking by on the road.

It was at this exact moment when the pillar fell and injured one of the two people, with one of them escaping with minor injuries.

SHO Ramkishan Yadav said, “There was some construction work going on at a shop. The column fell from the third floor. One person sustained serious injuries and has been sent to the hospital for treatment. We are trying to speak with the owner of the shop.”
