Lionel Messi omits Ronaldo, Ronaldo picks Lewandowski, Top 3 picks from FIFA awards revealed

The Best FIFA Awards were concluded with Robert Lewandowski and Lucy Grant winning the best player awards in Men’s and Women’s category respectively.

Now the top three picks of several players have been revealed with Lionel Messi omitting long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo and voting for Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lewandowski in order of preference.

Ronaldo’s however included Messi in his team with the Portuguese picking Lewandowski, Messi, and Mbappe in order of preference.

Best Goalkeeper award winner Manuel Neuer picked teammate Lewandowski as his first choice, followed by Man City midfield maestro Kevin De Bruyne and former teammate Thiago Alcantara.

Winner Robert Lewandowski voted for Thiago Alcantara, Neymar and De Bruyne in order of preference.

Real Madrid’s captain Sergio Ramos voted for Lewandowski, Alcantara and Neymar in order of preference.

England striker Harry Kane’s top pick was Lewandoski followed by De Bruyne and Messi.

Liverpool defensive stalwart top three were all his Liverpool’s teammate in Sadio Mane, Mohammad Salah, and Thiago Alcantara.
