India reports 18,088 new COVID-19 cases as total tally reaches 1,03,74,932

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Wednesday (January 6) revealed that India reported 18,088 new Coronavirus cases and 21,314 recoveries in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the nation to 1,03,74,932.

As per the Union Health Ministry, India also recorded 264 deaths in the last 24 hours too.

With this, the total number of active COVID-19 cases in the country goes up to 2,27,546 while the total number of people recovered stands at 99,97,272.

Meanwhile, the death toll stands clocked 1,50,114, according to the Union Health Ministry.

Kerala reported 63,993 active Coronavirus cases while Maharashtra reported 50,223 active cases.

The scenes at the national capital inst that good too as Delhi reported 4,562 active cases, 6,12,527 recoveries and 10,609 fatalities, as per the Health Ministry.
