Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Briefing on Stimulus Package: Live Updates

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is addressing a press conference today, where it is expected that the central government may announce another stimulus package amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The measures are expected to be aimed at sectors worst hit by the lockdown and may list out projects which will help in reviving employment and the economy.

The announcement has come after the Union Cabinet approved the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for 10 sectors on November 11. The total allocation under PLI would be Rs 1.46 lakh crore over five years.

Finance Minister hinted at the revival of the economy and listed out that the economy is showing signs of revival.
