Dubbaka By-Election Result 2020 live news: BJP Candidate Raghunandan Wins

By-Poll Results for Dubbaka were declared today. The counting of votes was completed at the Indur Engineering College, Siddipet. The constituency witnessed a contest between TRS, BJP and Congress candidates.

The Bhartiya Janata Party has won the Dubbaka seat. BJP candidate Raghunandan Rao won the by-poll by 1754 votes and defeated Solipeta Sujatha who was fielded by Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

The Bhartiya Janata Party regained its lead in Dubbaka. By the end of the twenty-second round of counting, BJP took the lead with 820 votes against TRS.

For the first time, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) took the lead by 251 votes and was ahead of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who was leading earlier by a wafer-thin margin of 174 votes in the eighteenth round.

According to the latest update, counting was stalled at booth number 157/A due to issues in the electronic voting machine. At 146 booth also, the votes were not counted, officials are yet to specify the reasons.

BJP was leading with 862 votes as the party bagged 47,940 votes, state party Telangana Rashtra Samithi was inching closer with 47,078 votes and Congress has managed to get 16,537 votes.

BJP earlier had a wider margin of 3438 votes after fourteen rounds of counting in Dubbaka. According to EC, BJP got 47,514 votes, state party Telangana Rashtra Samithi bagged 38,076 votes, while Congress received 12,658 votes.
