Bihar Polls: BJP Releases Manifesto in Patna, Promises Free Corona Vaccine

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) today released its election manifesto for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman released the vision document with ‘5 sutras, 1 goal and 11 resolutions’ in the state capital Patna.
The BJP Manifesto had made a promise of providing 19 lakh new jobs and says that it will construct 30 lakh pucca houses by 2020. Sitharaman at the release said that the party is planning to construct AIIMS hospital in Darbhanga and promised that the party will provide free coronavirus vaccines to all.
“Bihar is one state where all citizens are politically sensitive & well informed. They know & understand the promises a party makes. If anyone raises questions on our manifesto, we can answer them with confidence as we fulfil what we promised,” Finance Minister Sitharaman said at the event in Patna.
The BJP manifesto envisions a self-reliant Bihar and has listed out the roadmap for the next five years. The manifesto states: “Atmanirbhar Bihar Ka Roadmap 2020–25. Lakshya (objective) — Atmanirbhar Bihar. 5 Sutra — development of villages, cities, industries, education and agriculture.” In its ‘Sankalp Patra’, the BJP has promised jobs for the youth of the state.
The BJp is contesting the Bihar elections along with Janta Dal (United), which is a part of the National Democratic Aliance. Many BJP and state leaders, in favor of NDA candidates, are scheduled to campaign for the elections on Thursday.
